In short: you have 30 calendar days to ask for your money back, you do not need to say why, and you get all of it. Write to info@cartracer.com.mx from the address you bought with. We authorise the refund; the money is returned to you by Lemon Squeezy, who took the payment.
30 calendar days from your purchase. It is not a trial in disguise and there is no small print about how much you used the app: if within that month you decide it was not for you, you get the full amount back.
An email to info@cartracer.com.mx from the address you bought with, or telling us which one it was. That is enough for us to find the order.
You do not have to give a reason. If you want to tell us what went wrong it helps — that is how we learn what to fix — but it changes nothing, and nobody is going to try to talk you out of it.
We authorise the refund as soon as we read your email, usually the same day. From there it is out of our hands: the money returns the way it left, on your bank's or your card issuer's schedule — anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks.
The refund is carried out by Lemon Squeezy, not by us. They act as merchant of record for the sale: they took your payment, they issued the receipt, and they move the money back. We never touch your card — not when buying and not when refunding — because we have never held those details.
That is why the entry on your statement carries Lemon Squeezy's name and not ours, and why the timing is set by them and your bank. What does depend on us is authorising it, and we do that the same day.
Once the refund goes through, the Pro license stops being valid and the app returns to the free version on your devices. It may take a few days to show: the check is not instant.
Your data is not touched. It lives on your device, not on a server of ours, so a refund deletes nothing: your service history, your documents and your photos stay where they were. What is withdrawn is access to the paid features, not what you recorded.
Before asking, it is worth exporting your data to a file from Data → Export. Not because it is going to disappear, but because the file backup is the only one that survives clearing your browser or switching phones.
Car Tracer is free to use, with no account and no time limit. One vehicle, two service types and the latest records of each are enough to know whether the app is for you.
We say so because it is easier for you: trying first saves the whole procedure.
This policy adds to whatever the law already grants you and does not replace it. In Mexico, the Federal Consumer Protection Law and PROFECO cover your rights on any purchase, and nothing written here limits them.
